What Veo 3 Fast is good at
Veo 3 is Google DeepMind's video model, and the Fast tier trades some fidelity for a render that finishes in minutes rather than tens of minutes. It generates sound with the picture — footsteps, room tone, a voice — which is what separates a clip that reads as a real reel from one that reads as a silent render. For short-form social video, where nothing runs past ten seconds, the quality tier is rarely worth several times the cost.
How InfluAI Labs uses it
Every clip starts from your character's reference frame as its first image, so the person in the video is the same person as in the photos on the same account. You describe the scene; the camera direction, lighting and film treatment are added automatically. The finished clip is copied into your own library rather than left on a provider URL that expires.
What it costs
Fourteen credits a clip. On the Creator plan that is roughly a dollar and a half of your monthly allowance, against a shoot that would cost a location, a camera operator and a model.
Questions
Can Veo 3 keep the same person across several videos?+
Not on its own — a text prompt gives a different person each time. InfluAI Labs holds the identity fixed outside the model: a seed derived from the character, a fixed trait sentence, and the character's reference frame passed in as the first image of every clip.
Does Veo 3 Fast generate sound?+
Yes. Veo 3 produces audio alongside the picture, including ambient sound and speech, which is why a clip from it can be posted as a reel without a separate audio pass.
Run Veo 3 Fast against a face that never changes
Pick a character, describe the shot, and publish it to Instagram, TikTok or YouTube on a schedule. The model is one line of the pipeline; the identity lock is the rest.
